"This disregarded all of our work and the agreed-upon revenue-sharing contract terms. In response, Crytivo has claimed that Soda Den "unilaterally" rescinded its contract with the publisher two days after the game's April 25th release. "We're cautiously optimistic that Roots of Pacha will return to Steam very soon." We're currently working on a roadmap and are excited to say it'll be ready for you next month. "While we work out our issues with Crytivo, we'll continue developing Roots of Pacha with the same energy as we've always put into it," Soda Den wrote. Similar to games like Stardew Valley, the social element also plays a heavy role in Roots of Pacha with players interacting with their tribe. Roots of Pacha also features a multiplayer co-op mode with special mini-games and events for playing with friends. The game offers several different mechanics with players able to learn how to preserve food, sculpt pottery and metalworking, and even expand the village with new buildings.
